Coach Lynum has participated in track and field since, almost 45 years ago. In track and field, he has achieved many accomplishments that are some of his best memories during his school years. He has had the opportunity to work with some great coaches and meet athletes who have competed at division one colleges in track, the NFL, the NBA, and have participated in the Olympics. None of this would not have been possible without the freedom of being able to meet people while competing.

Through the years he has coached at the high schoolvlevel, the boys and girls club in Lacrosse Wisconsin, and at the college level as a student coach. He has been fortunate enough to coach his kids and currently coaches at the Farmington In House program along with Farmington Thunder and Lighting Track Club. He is currently certified as a level one USATF (Unites States of America Track & Field) coach.

Coach Lynum views Track and Field is an amazing sport. What attracts him to this sport the most is not the competition; it is the friendships that develop from the sport. So many times, through his years of competing, he would meet people and build lifelong connections and friendships through the competition that introduced them.
